Fun & Unique Things to do in Taipei : #AGGYLOWTRAVELS

Okay okay hold up guys!
Before you expect me to start ranting on and on about how awesome my Taiwan trip was and literally paste the entire chunk of my itinerary here....

let me tell you guys that...

ME HAVE NO ITINERARY.

The point is to make this trip kinda impromptu and do what we want since we have been to TW before and did the touristy stuffs before.

If you want to read more about my previous taiwan trip, click here :

Pardon my English and pardon the lack of photos from idontknowgowhereliao.com/html.

I do have an album full of my previous TW trip on Facebook so let the stalker in you loose and go try your best to dig it up for the not-so-nice photos ok? 😁😁😁

---

So let me just share a few things or places to go that I find interesting during my trip this time round and of course not forgetting the blog entry (will be up tomorrow) that most ladies are keen in.....

MY VISIT TO A LEGIT AESTHETIC CLINIC IN TAIPEI

😙

--------

So here goes :

FUN & UNIQUE STUFFS TO DO IN TAIPEI
*More photos will be up by tomorrow*

*Disclaimer : Let me say again uh; don't expect things like me sharing about places like JiuFen or ShiFen or PingXi or the Taipei Zoo or the Toilet Cafe etc.

These are just some of the stuffs I MYSELF find fun and interesting to do and I really wanna share about so chillax even if this is not up to your standard ok? 😉
Do read this with an open mind!

1) VISIT ALL THE 夜市s LITERALLY

Over the 5-day trip in Taipei, we visited 3 夜市s (which I think is quite an accomplishment liao hor)!

Namely :
士林夜市
师大夜市
饶河夜市

There's just too much to see, shop and eat at Taipei's night markets.
I dare say that over the 5 days our tummies were mostly filled by having street foods.

To me, different night markets does have a different feel to it.
士林夜市 is more of a commercialised kind of night market.
There's a lot of carnival games too and tons to eat and shop.
As commercialised as it is, I can't give this a miss everytime I'm in Taipei.
MUST GO!

师大夜市 is literally where all the youngsters hang out.
There's even a corner for the students from the university nearby to chill with their friends at after school.
The stuffs on sale there are super trendy and it's my favourite night market to shop at!

饶河夜市 is totally paradise for the foodies.
Here you can find rows and rows of food stalls and they sell literally EVERYTHING - even durian ice-cream! 😱😱😱

I heard that 宁夏夜市 is also another haven for food.
I haven't been there though... anyone?

2) SING KARAOKE

I never thought that singing K at Taipei will be SO MUCH FUN.
They have like separate remote controls for different functions like funny sound effects, and the best part?!?

A VOICE CHANGING REMOTE CONTROL.

It can change your usual voice to :
Donald Duck's
Transformer's
from a male's to female's
from a female's to male's
perfect pitch
etc etc.

It can also change your voice to make it sound like it is at different places/situations :
1) At a haunted house
2) In the bathroom
3) In the performing theatre
4) At a sports complex
etc etc.

SUPER FUN AND MUST TRY!

*Pardon me for this irrelevant selfie..I don't have enough photos to post HAHA*

The price?
SUPER DUPER CHEAP.
JUST NT382 FROM 11PM TO 6AM DURING SATURDAYS.
(Approx SGD18)

Check out the following list for more info.

3) VISIT A NIGHT CLUB

"What's fun about a night club for couples?", you might be thinking.

Actually it doesn't matter who you go with because the VIBE is just FANTASTIC!

We went to Club Myst and had a couple of drinks.
Crowd's all good - no fights no nothing, just purely people there enjoying the dance floor and music.

Prices of drinks are relatively reasonable.

What I really NEED TO RAVE ABOUT is the DJ and the MUSIC.
It was so good I hardly groove to the beat while sitting down but for this, I HAD TO.
I wished I drank more so I would have an even better time in fact.

Anyone has any other clubs to recommend?

4) VISIT A UNIQUE CAFE THAT IS LESSER KNOWN TO THE PUBLIC

For this, we went to Zoo Cafe.

It has a wonderful atmosphere, really relaxing and quiet.
A perfect place to spend your afternoon at.

The only thing I'm complaining about?

The limited options on the menu but the food was really good.

5) VISIT AN AESTHETIC CLINIC

Haha "plastic" as I might be (or so as what some of you call me)...

TELL ME HOW CAN I GIVE A MISS ON THIS?!?

I honestly didn't have the idea of visiting one until a conversation like this sort struck between my friend and I.

Me : "Eh babe, recommend good and cheap place for Botox leh".
Friend : "Eh you going Taipei soon right, TAIPEI LA!"
(Suddenly she damn excited I don't understand why lol)
Me : "Wa really ah! Okay I go do research."

And viola!

I did :
1) Hydrafacial
2) Whitening Jab
3) Botox for Jaw
4) Sculptra

Of course I didn't do all in a span of a day.
I did Whitening Jab, Botox and Hydrafacial on the 2nd day and Sculptra on the last day.

Face swelling from Sculptra

Will go into details of these in my blog entry tomorrow that will be solely my non-sponsored experience at the aesthetic clinic so STAY TUNED!

6) VISIT 北投 FOR HOT SPRINGS

One of my biggest regret during this trip was not having enough time to visit 北投 for a good soak in the hot springs.

Though I didn't head there this time round but I feel that it is kind of a MUST-GO everytime I'm in Taipei.
Go there to chill and have a good soak while enjoying the gorgeous mountain view (if there is).

There are different types of hot springs to suit different needs too!
Do some research before you head down so you will know which has the best price for the best experience and which has the best service too!

7) SHOP AT 五分埔

OH MY GOODNESS THIS IS A MUST FOR ALL GIRLS.

Shopping here literally is EVEN BETTER than shopping at 师大夜市 + 西門町 combined.
YES IT IS THAT GOOD.

You get literally the cheapest deals there and you can haggle.
But the shop owners can be really rude so just try to keep an open mind and don't let that spoil your mood.
Also, in my opinion, the best time to avoid shopping at Taiwan will be during the cold weather seasons as clothings they sell might not be suitable to be worn in Singapore.
But other than that, you can get good deals like $24 for two very chio looking bags which is like Zara/H&M standard kind.
(My taste you surely can trust right? 😙😙😙)

I promise to share more in time to come when things are more finalised as I don't wish to jump into any sort of conclusions as of now and further ruin anything.
But till then, do follow me closely on my social media channels okay?
