Yesterday was a fruitful day with the fav girl :D

Met up for brunch and girl-time.
Excited with our decision to cafe-hop hehe.

First stop was : SYMMETRY CAFE

From the outside the shop looks...unpredictable?
Like you really won't know what to expect unless you open the doors to this really peculiar cafe.

I recalled the first word when I stepped in was, "Wow."
Yea literally.

Really like this vintage tea box.
Hopefully I can find this in London :D

The Menu!

We ordered :

X'mas Brunch - The "noms" : Ham, Bacon, Scrambled Eggs, Mushrooms, dollop of greens, toast with yummy berry butter

Roast Beef Panini Sandwich - The sandwich with truffle fries (add $2)

Finished the meal, went to the toilet and then to wash my hands.

I stood there at the sink for 5 minutes trying to figure out how to make the water come out - no it was not the sensor type.

Gave up and went back to the cubicle to wash my hands - thankfully there is a sink in there -.-

In the end I just couldn't fight my curiosity and went to ask one of the chefs how to use the sink =.='''

Now dont say I didnt tell you : THERE IS A FOOT PEDAL ON THE FLOOR SO STEP ON IT TO TURN THE TAP ON

And you're welcome ;)

Overall, a little pricey to be honest, but quite worthy in my opinion.
And yes I would go back again.

Next stop : "Anyhow-walk" + Liang Court - Dulcet & Studio

We explored Arab St and Haji Lane trying to find a nice cafe.
A little drama when I left my phone in one of the cafe's toilet and went back to find it :p.
PHEW

Wanted to go to The Fabulous Baker Boy but the weather was just so
scorching hot that when we reached Liang Court we just decided to settle
for Dulcet & Studio instead as we had to cross some "un-crossable" roads
to reach the almost "un-reachable" cafe at the other end. :(

Ordered three cakes as they were having this 3 for $12 promo.

We ordered :
Blueberries Cream Tart
Fruit Roll
Chocolate Marble Cake

A little too sweet for my liking but not too bad overall and rather affordable.
And yes I would go back again.
