[ LOOKBOOK ] Celebrating fall in Singapore with Fashion Nova

I'm often told that in Singapore, there is no such thing as the four seasons.
We celebrate summer all year round, which makes wearing pieces for fall somewhat impossible.

But the good thing is, the weather does turn a little chilly towards the end of the year.
We get to wear long sleeves, jackets, blazers over our usual staples.

Today I am going to show you a two simple looks I have put together, keeping in mind the not-so-hot-yet-not-so-cold weather in Singapore.

All apparels and boots are kindly sponsored by Fashion Nova.

Fashion Nova is based in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles and has five retail locations in Southern California. They strive to provide awesome service, unbeatable prices and the hottest trends.

Always on the lookout for the newest and most daring styles, whether it’s that perfect dress for a night out, a cute outfit for running errands or a classic ensemble for brunch with the girls, there’s something for every occasion and everyone in their collection.

Enjoy!

Working with Neutrals

Jacket : Manhattan Coat (Khaki) - Fashionnova.com
Top : Damsel Top (Charcoal) - Fashionnova.com

Shoes : Marshall Chunky Heels - Tact.sg

I have always loved the idea of putting same colours together and them looking like coordinates.
The different shades of grey in this outfit is somehow brightened up slightly by the Light Khaki Jacket.
If you are worried that it might to too hot to wear the jacket, how about just let it drape over your shoulders for that effortless and chic look?

Footwear : Dark Knight Bootie - Fashionnova.com

Fall fashion must-have - boots.
This pair gives out such edgy vibes with the metal detailing and buckle.
I love how it is slightly pointed to help accentuate longer legs.

Another way to dress this romper is with heels, a big floppy hat and a simple clutch!

This romper features a lace-up detailing at the chest area, as well as a smocked waist for a slimmer-looking effect.
It also has flare sleeves that is really hot and trendy at the moment.

Note that as my romper is already in bright red, I try to keep my accessories/shoes minimal by wearing them in a same colour but a mix of different textures.

My hat is of woolen material, my shoes are of velvet and the clutch is of pleather.

Romper : Promenade Romper - Fashionnova.com

I like how these pieces are so wearable and really lightweight for our hot and humid SG weather.
Quality of apparels is definitely commendable and true to the colours displayed on their site too.

From my observation, the team behind Fashion Nova takes pride in their work and all enquiries to them were answered promptly and specifically.

I also played it up by matching this romper with a pair of white mules with black heels for a more easy-going look.

What do you think of these apparels?
Are they game enough for the weather here in SG? ;)

How about the different ways I styled them?
Do you like it? (:

Order processing is also relatively quick which means that you will be able to receive your items faster! (:

  1. I must say I'm jealous of that weather :) Both looks are great, but I love the red one just a bit more. That colour is gorgeous on you!
