WEIGHT ISSUES - TOP 7 TIPS ON HOW TO LOSE WEIGHT (PART II)

Hi all!

Today I will be sharing on some tips on how to lose weight, and stay that way!

Sorry but the entry is too long so I will have to break it up into two parts :P

Before I go on, please be reminded that these are all just by MY OWN OPINIONS & FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCES.
I am no doctor nor any professional so please follow these tips at your own risks and discreetly.

So..........

Here we go~~~~

1) Love Yourself (and keep it that way)
Before you start on any weight loss plans, you have to remember this should be the most important reason why you even started wanting to lose weight.

Loving yourself means you want to be fit and healthy.
You are not doing this for anyone but yourself.

Maybe there is a pair of jeans that you used to be able to wear but don't fit anymore and you would love to fit in them again.
Maybe your BMI is a little too high than it should be.

No matter what the reason is, IT IS FOR YOURSELF and YOU WANT TO LOOK FABULOUS.
You get it :D

Oh and yes, and keep it that way.
Nothing should ever change, probably you have reached your weight loss goal, or you've met someone new - still keep in mind to love yourself so you will never let your diet/exercise plan go astray.

2) Motivate Yourself (for the right reasons) & Never Give Up
In my opinion this is something not everyone can do,
Yes as much as you want to look fab, or for anything else, sometimes we just have to admit we are human.
We procrastinate, we tell ourselves it's okay, we give ourselves just too many breaks, we find all sorts of excuses for ourselves.

Trust me, this happens to me too.

To overcome this, I like to follow instagram/twitter accounts that inspires me.
Accounts/people on staying fit and healthy.

These accounts/people post pictures of yummy healthy food, tweets/photos of exercise and also mind-changing quotes for motivation.

I really find these useful.
I wake up in the morning and sometimes I tell myself, "Uh, I'm too tired, I will run tomorrow instead.".
Then I will feel a little guilty and start looking at these motivational twitter/instagram accounts and put on my running shoes and go running.

3) Start Slow and Be Realistic
Sometimes we are so driven into losing weight we start this all too fast, and too furious.

We immediately change our diet plans, we start too exercise too much, we let these all take over us just too much too soon.

And in the end, it all also will be gone too soon.

To keep things going and keeping it all that way, start slowly.

Examples :

1) You start your new diet plan.
Eat all normally.
Slowly replace the white carbs with wholemeal stuffs.
I know it sounds boring and not-yummy.
But I myself was pretty surprised when I first tried wholemeal bread.
It tasted the same as white bread, but so so so much healthier.
Slowly replace other stuffs like pasta with wholemeal ones, etc etc.

2) You started running (but never did before).
Start by just slow jogging to the nearest park/bus stop or whichever.
It must be of a substantial distance (not the void deck of your house) - maybe three to four blocks distance away.
If after jogging that far you have no energy to jog back, brisk walk back.
Slowly increase it from once a week, to thrice a week, and the distances further and further.

Be realistic on your plan and know that things happen over time, not immediately.
You want results -  you have to be determined and patience is the key.

Ok that's it for now.
Digest these three, and really, start by following these.

I will post the last two tips which will be what you girls are mostly looking forward to :
DIET and EXERCISE

Before going through diet and exercise, change your mindset and prepare yourself to follow through the last two most important tips.
It is crucial that you have to have a positive and right mindset on wanting to change and be better before you actually do it!!

Hope these three tips helps!

Remember..........

Stay tuned for the last two tips, I promise they will be life-changing and worth it! ;)
